Sacred Singing at a Sacred Site

Please save the date for an upcoming special event. On June 27th, 2020, we are celebrating the 175th anniversary of the publication of Brothertown Indian Thomas Commuck's tune-book, Indian Melodies. We will gather in Brothertown, Wisconsin.

Registration begins at a cottage near Brothertown Harbor at 9am, followed by an overview of shape-note singing and practice from 10am-12pm. A potluck lunch will be provided. In the afternoon, we will gather at the Union Cemetery to sing songs from Indian Melodies.
